calcollages

I've been asked to upload some samples of my calcollages. What are calcollages, you ask? They're drawn collages made by tracing from various sources. Calcollage is a portmanteau I came up with to describe this technique, combining the French words "calque" (trace) and "collage" (um, yeah, collage). I'd like to say I invented the technique itself - I did come up with it on my own, just playing around with tracing paper - but I'm sure other people have done similar things in the past. Blog love for Panic Engines

I'm not sure I consider Panic Engines to be "drone music" but my inclusion in this top 5 list is very flattering!

At the time the article was written, there were no online examples of what the Panic Engines cassette sounds like. I've since corrected that.
